Apply for Membership

Fill out the form below and click the Continue button at the bottom.

To apply for membership in Family Education for Christ:

1. Read and agree to our Terms of Service, thereby stating that:

you are in compliance with the homeschooling laws of the state in which you legally reside,
you stand in agreement with the FEFC By-laws, which include our Statement of Faith, and
you agree to our Liability Waiver.

2. Complete the Membership Registration for 2026-2027
(Be sure to remember the username & password you enter as you will need them to log in to the website for the rest of the year!)

3. Pay the $30 annual membership dues. Applicants eligible for membership will receive an email invoice from PayPal explaining payment options. Dues paid through Paypal are $31.25 to cover the PayPal fee. Remember: your membership is not valid until your application is approved AND your dues have been received. Make checks payable to: FEFC

1. Please list the name of your current church.
If you are new to the area, please list the church and location of the church your family attended in your home. 2. Family Education for Christ is a volunteer lead support group. Families who are members of FEFC must volunteer to serve with the group in order to maintain membership privileges. By checking this box, you acknowledge that you have read this statement of volunteer requirements, and that you additionally agree to serve as you are able within the group during the current member year.   3. Have you enrolled in the Georgia Department of Education's full-time online public school Georgia Cyber Academy or any Georgia Virtual School, which means the state of GA considers you a public schooler (and therefore not elibigible for FEFC membership)?

Have you registered a Declaration of Intent (DOI) with the Georgia Department of Education, which means the state of Georgia recognizes you as a homeschooler? We are enrolled in full-time online public school.

4. Has any member of the family ever been convicted of criminal activity including, but not limited to crimes against a child or children under the laws of the State of Georgia, and any other state or territory of the United States of America?

Please type YES or NO. If YES, please explain in detail. 5. New families applying for membership in FEFC must provide a personal reference who can speak to your Christian character. This should be a current/former member of FEFC or your current pastor. Families who are new to the area may provide the name of their previous pastor. Please be sure to list accurate contact information for someone who actually knows you. FEFC representatives will call to verify each reference, and your application approval may be delayed or denied if we are unable to confirm your references. You must provide a verifiable name with contact information. Without this information, your application is incomplete and will not be processed.

If you are a NEW MEMBER, please provide the name and phone number of a current or former FEFC member who can serve as a personal reference for you. If you do not know a current or former member, you may provide the name and phone number of your current pastor as a reference.

If you are a RETURNING MEMBER, please type RETURNING in this field. 6. How did you hear about Family Education for Christ?   7. Curricula / Teaching Style:

FEFC is a community of homeschoolers; we aim to connect families. Please describe what curricula and/or educational methods you use in your homeschool. 8. Are you an FEFC Alumni Parent? This means you have completed homeschooling your youngest child. Your youngest child has graduated Homeschooling while being a good standing member of Family Education for Christ. Are you an Alumni FEFC Graduate volunteering with FEFC?
